I’m Nicole Switzer, a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Rockaway Properties and a Rockaway resident who knows this peninsula as more than a real estate market — it’s home.
For more than 10 years, I’ve worked across different sides of real estate, from residential sales and investment properties to property management, foreclosures, short sales and renovation projects. Today, I help homeowners, buyers and investors navigate real estate throughout the Rockaway Peninsula, with a particular focus on Arverne, Arverne by the Sea, Rockaway Beach, Edgemere, Far Rockaway, Bayswater, Rockaway Park and Belle Harbor.
What I love most about working in Rockaway is that every neighborhood — and often every block — is different. Beach access, flood zones, property type, taxes, two-family configurations, transportation and even where a home sits within a particular community can affect how buyers view a property and how sellers should position it. My job is to bring that local knowledge together with hands-on real estate experience to help my clients make informed decisions.
Meet Nicole
I've worked in real estate for more than 10 years, and my experience goes well beyond traditional home sales. Earlier in my career, I worked in property management overseeing a portfolio of more than 400 residential units. That experience taught me a lot about homes from the other side — property condition, multi-family properties, investment value, tenants, maintenance and the day-to-day issues property owners actually deal with.
Over the years, I've also worked with residential sales, investment properties, foreclosures, short sales and distressed properties. Today, much of my business is focused right here on the Rockaway Peninsula. I love this community, and I understand how different buying or selling here can be from other parts of Queens.
